How The NeedleSmart Team are Getting on During Self-Isolation
As we all now know, UK Government guidelines during the COVID-19 outbreak mean unless absolutely necessary, we all must work from home and self-isolate, only leaving our houses for essential trips like food shopping or for one form of exercise daily. Due to everyone having to get used to a new working routine, we thought we would check in with the NeedleSmart team and see what they have been up to in their free time during lockdown.
CEO of NeedleSmart and gym enthusiast, Cliff Kirby, is not happy that he is unable to go to his usual early morning gym session, so has opted for starting his day with a home-workout at 5.45am.
During lockdown, Product Design Engineer Calum Sayer has welcomed his beautiful baby daughter, Penelope. His time at home is now filled with nappies and naps. Congratulations Calum!
When he’s not at the office organising the packaging and shipping of NeedleSmart product, Research and Development Engineer Tom Baker has opted for a Disney+ subscription in order to start a Marvel Movie Marathon after work.
Head of Development David Latham was Easter Bunny spotting over the Easter weekend, and he was successful! David and his family helped to cheer up the local community and spread the Easter spirit by delivering eggs and putting smiles on faces young and old!
We hope that during this time, everyone is keeping safe and well and we thank all of the key workers for the amazing work they are doing.
